Unbelievable
Scott sat in his office for what felt like hours as he digested what the doctor had just told him. He couldn?t believe it. All along, he was the reason why his wife couldn?t become a mother. He was the problem, and he could do nothing about it.
Guilt washed over him as he buried his face in his hands, letting tears slip from his eyes. He?d never felt so terrible before.
He Felt Awful
That afternoon, Scott went home feeling beyond terrible about the situation. But he felt awful for more than one reason. Not only was he the problem, but he couldn?t even speak to his wife about it. He had made a promise that he wouldn?t see a doctor.
He wanted nothing more than to go home and tell her the truth and apologize that he couldn?t give her a child. But he couldn?t. 
He Couldn?t Sleep
When Scott got home early that evening, he went straight to his home office, where he stayed until bedtime. He couldn?t eat, and that night, he barely slept. He felt beyond destroyed. He wished he?d never gone to the doctor in the first place.
He just wished he could speak to Trish about all of it. From that day forward, he knew his life would never be the same again.
