Sarah's Call
My phone on the living room table rang frantically. It was Sarah. I dashed out, grabbing it. "Sarah?" "Mom!" Her voice was urgent and shrill, tearful. "I just remembered! Last month when I visited, I hid something behind your nightstand! I forgot to tell you! Oh no! Is it... still there?" My mind reeled. "Behind the nightstand... a black... cube?"

The Shocking Revelation
"Yes, yes!" Sarah nearly screamed. "That's it! The projector! Mom, it's a projector speaker! Your gift!" I was dumbfounded. "Projector... speaker?" Walking slowly back to the bedroom door, I faced Liz and David. My eyes met Liz's, then David's, finally resting on the cold black cube in my hand. "Sarah says... it's a projector speaker she gave us."

Locating the Port
"Good grief!" Liz snatched the cube from me, pressing hard on the side groove—a click, and a tiny, hidden cover flipped open, revealing a standard USB-C charging port! She looked at David. "Do you have a Type-C cable? Quick!" David, as if waking from a daze, stumbled to the desk, rifling through a drawer. His hands shook violently, papers scattering everywhere.
